went to the hospital last night...

I started having contractions 15 min apart for 3 hours. Of course once I got to the hospital and all hooked up and everything they stopped. But the doc said what I was describing to him were contractions and that he is telling me exactly what I am allowed to do. Get up only to go to the bathroom, make myself a sandwich, or take a short shower. I am not allowed to travel out of town for any reason (he says this because my mom is out of town and likes me to visit a lot) and am not allowed to go anywhere but my couch, my bed, or a chair. Basically I need to actually listen to the bed rest that my dr told me two weeks ago. This week I have been allowing myself to get up a little bit more because it just sucks sitting here doing nothing but surfing there internet, watching tv, or reading a book. I am in total nest mode and have 3 rooms in my home halfway redone and just want to finish them. It is really really frustrating!

I'm sorry you're going through this and I know it's difficult, but I hope you listen this time to their advice. They are not giving it because they like to hear themselves talk. I hope the contractions don't come back and the bed rest goes fast and complication free!
