Tagless shirt rash? Anyone go through this?

I just read online about the Carters recall a few years ago for their tagless baby clothes and the rashes that babies were getting from it.  DD is 9 months old and has been wearing tagless pjs, onesies, etc since she was born, but all of the sudden she's getting a rash in the exact spot where the tagless info is.  Now it has spread all over her back.  She has no other skin issues.  Has anyone dealt with this?  What do I use on the rash?

  • Both of my girls are very sensitive to the tagless stuff.  We try to buy clothes with regular tags and then cut them out, but when we can't I use a piece of iron on fabric over the tag spot.
  • Did you just get plain iron on fabric?  Like from a fabric store?  I was trying to figure out what I could put over it aside from sewing fabric on all of her clothes.  Thanks so much!

  • I don't know if they are still doing it, but Carters was sending you bags that you could send back all of the tagless stuff in and they would refund your money. It was on their website. I think I did it in the summer.
