I've never heard of this. I was in shock at the time when he was explaining it because he had just told me that we were doing it today. I don't think he said the name though. Doc wants to try this today at my induction, before the pitocin. Anyone have a clue? or an experience?

There is something herbal that you can put under your tongue that's supposed to help labor move along. I don't know what it is, though, and it's not something that I think a doctor would suggest (given that it's herbal and not medical), though a midwife might.
FWIW, cervixes can have lips.
