Yeah, he has been somewhat better. He is just such a drama queen and takes it out on me 90% of the time.It gets so old.
It looks like he's got the job-- the guy can't meet with him until March 2nd, but he's going up to spend the entire day. He didn't even blink at DHs salary and commission requirements and is putting together a health insurance package.
I dropped the price on our house and emailed every realtor who has shown it. I got several emails back saying that it's an extremely attractive price for the neighborhood. Of course it is-- I am asking $36K less than the next cheapest house.
I will be so glad once this is over.

The one thing that's currently bugging me is that the house I decided I want just went to "Contingent" yesterday. Boo. It was perfect.
But contingent generally means that they have a house to sell, and in the current real estate market that could take forever. So there's still a chance for me to knock out the current contract. If I go in with a 50% (or more) downpayment, preapproval and can close immediately, I am pretty sure that could go my way.

Lari, that sounds great! Hope this is it! You are dropping the price at just the right time of year too.
I really hope you can put all this behind you very, very soon!
