I really want to get Emily a wagon for her birthday/this summer. I'm really torn between the Step 2 wagon with a door and the covered Radio Flyer (both 2 seater and have a shade option).
I like the idea of a door on the Step 2 wagon, but I the reviews for the seating comfort of the Radio Flyer are a lot better. Anyone want to share their personal preference? Thanks!
Re: Which wagon is best? Step 2/Radio Flyer
Catching up on sports news...
I actually did a bunch of research and we have close family friends that suggested the Radio Flyer one. We are getting the Trail Blazer from Target, for $118. It has the caddie on the back for storage. I'm pretty sure the Trailblazer name is just a name Radio Flyer uses for Target, it is similiar to the "Ultimate Family Wagon" on the RF website.
It is a gift from my parents, but the Target by our houses carries it.
We have a radio flyer and we LOVE it! We got it in April of '07, so its going on 3 years old and it has held up fantastic! We have taken it to the zoo, the beach, the park, the fair, consignment sales, and I'm sure lots of other places! Its always perfect for what we need! The wheels are the right size and we never have any trouble switching between sand, pavement, rocks...its even crossed over railroad tracks that were quite bumpy and it traveled nicely, no kids fell out or even got too bumpy. Its easy to clean, it stands up to weather nicely on the few times we've left it outside. I love that it has 4 cup holders, so that there is a place for me a drink and my extra child that isn't riding. The girls still comfortabley fit in there, and I don't see them growing out of it anytime soon. I also love that the seats fold down and becomes like a regular wagon for when we need to tote things, and the girls like to use it like that too. Jeremiah loves to use it as a jungle gym, and folds the seats up and down and just has a great time with it! Plus it fits nicely in our van, so it travels easily. The handle folds nicely underneath for storage.
Anyway, I don't know anything about the step 2, but highly reccomended the radio flyer!
