What about Paige?

We found out today we are having a little girl! ?Paige is one of our front runners, but DH is second guessing it because when he mentioned it to some coworkers they didn't say anything. ?Nothing negative, but nothing positive either. ?I have to admit, I've gotten the same reaction. ?Is it just a blah name?

I love Paige! If I ever have a little girl this will most likely be her name. I have gotten mixed reactions when I mention the name to people too, seems to be mainly men who aren't sure about it. They have comments like "turning the page?" But I think it is nice and feminine and not trendy, which is also a plus in my opinion.

Paige is kind of vanilla IMO. You know, not baaad but not really cute or exciting either.  What matters is if YOU and dh like it, then go for it.

I think its a great name. It is on our list (Paige Noelle). The few people I have mentioned it to have loved it.

I like it.  I think people generally don't respond with too much excitement because whatever name you say is most likely not the name they would choose for their child.  We aren't sharing this time around (IRL) because I don't want to be disappointed with people's reactions.  It's a big deal to DH and I, but not really to others (except our immediate families).

I think it's an okay name, nms really.  BUT, we have 3 Paige's just in one grade level at school this year.  Not sure if it's becoming more popular, or if that matters to you!

I agree! I do think it is kind of a blah name. I think I feel that way about a lot of one syllable names though. I tend to like them better as middle names.

LOVE Paige! My BFF is naming her future DD Paige. All our friends think it's adorable. It's not blah in the slightest. Blah names to me are like Anne or something (although I love Anne!).

I think it is a cute name, but with my last name it sounds horrible.  Our last name starts with a P.  We had considered it as a MN, if we ever had a girl.

My daughter's name is Lucca Paige. We liked Paige more for a middle name. It really is a cute and fun name.
