Does anyone else have the Fisher-Price Whale Tub?????

We have this tub and we love it. It has a "baby stopper" in the middle so that baby doesn't slide all the way down into the water. DS is sitting on his own now and when he leans too far forward he goes face first into the water. I'm trying to remove the stopper, but I can't get it out! It says it's removable. Help!!!

    We have that tub. It is hard to get that piece out. DH said he just grabbed it by the little indentation on the side and pulled really hard.

    The butt stopper is removable? I had no idea. If so, this would help us out big time. I got DD a bigger inflatable tub but she fell under water (it was only for a second) the first time using it and now she is horrified of it but she has definitely outgrown the whale tub.

    Yeah you have to pull REALLY hard to get it out. And if you don't take it off and clean it, the water gets stuck in there and scum builds up. It's so nasty.

    this, i just pulled it out with some elbow grease.  It gets nasty under there...I cleaned it a lot when he used that part

    I pulled the tub itself apart (it is plastic so it "gives" a little) and popped the baby stopper right out, it wasn't really hard at all.

    Ok...tomorrow it's Mommy vs. The Whale!!! And I will win. Now I feel bad that I've never thought to clean under there. Thanks ladies!

    Don't. I felt like the worst mom ever when I filled his tub one day and there was pieces of scum in it. I scrubbed that tub out twice a week. I never thought to take that thing out either.

    I pulled it out, and actually put ds sitting in it so he is sitting in the "deep end" facing the other way.
