can anyone post from a blackberry?

I have a blackberry and I can check the board from it, but I can't post or reply to anything.  It's like permanent lurker mode!  I'm looking into getting an iphone, but another option to keep costs down is just to stick with the bb.  But I'd love to be able to participate in the board more from the bb--I just can't seem to figure it out. 

any ideas?

    I post from mine, I think as long as you're logged in from it, you should be able to post.

    really?  I can compose a post/reply, but whenever I click the "post" button, it just gives me a "Loading . . . "" message that never ends.  Don't  know who to ask how to fix this!  Can't really ask my IT dept at work and I'd feel silly going to the T-mobile store (where I have my bb through) and asking them!

    hmm....mine says "loading" too the whole time in the bottom but the replies do go through. Try taking out your battery and putting it back in and trying again? That helps sometimes!

    Mine works.  Check and see if your bb needs an update, maybe that will help.

    Ooh, how do I do that?  Mine is pretty old--over 2 years old.  I have no idea how to update it and have definitley never done it.

    I know that on the iPhone, you have to go to settings and make sure JavaScript is turned "on" to load the page but then go back and turn it "off" to be able to post. Not sure if the BB uses the same technology in their browser, but it's worth a shot.

    This is how I upgrade mine, hopefully it is similar ;)

    I go to the Settings Folder - Options - Advanced Options - Wireless Upgrade

    and then follow the prompts.

    At one point I couldn't respond either and then all of a sudden I could.  The only thing is that I don't have 3G so it's not super fast but good enough ;( I believe the only bb with 3G on TMobile is the Bold 9700 which recently came out...I think.

    Thanks.  I tried but apparently there is no "wireless upgrade" on my advanced options menu!  I may call them today to see if they can tell me how.

    Since both of you can post without reference to the javascript thing, I'm going to guess it's not that. 

    I tried taking out the battery and re-inserting it to no avail.  But thanks for the suggestions!
