I like these 2 names, but I would rather have Lucy as a nickname. I've got Lucinda, and Lucille (Lucille is DH's grandma;s name & mom's mn. if we used lucy, it would be somewhat after them, but not sure if we'd use the full lucille or not)
Claire I love, but a 1 syllable doesn't flow well with our last name. Not sure if there is much "longer" for it, but all I can come up with is Clarabelle which just reminds me of the cow from Mickey Mouse....
Thanks for any suggestions
Re: Long names for Lucy or Claire?
My aunt is Lucinda & Clarice or Clarissa are all I'm thinking of for Claire. Maybe Luella or Luanne for Lucy?
But I do think both names stand well on their own.
Luciana
I cant think of anything for Claire maybe Sinclair they say it is unisex but i view it as more of a masculine name (prob bc that's mh name..lol).

Claire could possibly be a nickname for Clara. They are the same amount of letters, but Claire is one less syllable so it could work. My grandma is Clarice, and I guess that could work too.
I really love both Lucy and Claire!
