skin pigmentation on belly

So I started to notice a very faint line from my belly button down.. which I know is normal... just wondering if it's supposed to happen this early? It's still very faint.. but even DH noticed it. He of course thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Also - I'm noticing almost like a ring around my widening belly button.. what's up with that?

Yes, it's totally normal.  Mine just showed up in the last two days.

Everything I've read says it usually shows up in the 2nd trimester.

On FF, my Week 12 milestone mentions it.

What surprised me was how long it took to go away!  After DD was born, I was ready to say goodbye to the linea negra... exfoliating in the shower really helped after DD was born.  It finally was gone and now I'm pregnant again!

I have the beginning of a linea negra and I'm only just over 14 weeks so I would say 19 weeks is too early.
