What not to do around a first trimester friend...

So, one of my friends just found out last week she is pregnant. She happened to be staying at my house this weekend...

She came home. I was cooking - making corned beef hash (yes, its gross. yes I was craving it) as well as a cheesecake. She came back to the kitchen in time for me to be making the cheesecake  crust... I was packing it into the pan...

food was a total turn off for her since she's got morning sickness. but she looked completely horrified at the cheesecake... I thought she was like gunna puke... and all the sudden she said, "I've heard of people having strange cravings, but..."

 I didn't know what was so strange about my cheesecake to her... til I realized she thought I was making it with the corned beef hash as the crust!!!

I quickly reassured her the corned beef hash was on the other side of the kitchen and that it was GRAHAM CRACKER crust.

She was very relieved to know that in a few weeks she also wouldn't be craving corned beef hash cheesecake. 

excellent. I'm scaring my first trimester friends now!!! though when she said it, I was ready to puke at the thought of combining the two as well.

I want it really bad too!!! My sodium is too low (I'm in the hospital) and crave the nastiest foods with low sodium (corned beef hash, ramen, etc)... 

I don't think my friend ate the rest of that day!!!! oops!

Good!  Hospital?    I'm sorry!  Is it short term until you get your sodium back up?  In 6 weeks, I have a 50/50 chance of hospital bedrest.  Not looking forward to it.

yeah my port broke. they are having to pull it then give me a hickman. 

I was on IVs at home but then when the port broke they brought me in. now they have me NPO til they do the procedure and thats not helping the sodium. it's almost 1:30 EST and I haven't had food since yesterday. 

yeah they expect me on bedrest too... I'm moving next week so I'm trying to do everything right quick before that, ack!!!

oh I got my KAFOs last week!
