I saw the name Paityn today. Are you kidding me? I'm fine with the name, but the spelling is a little much...at least IMO. WDYT?

Why do people do this to their kids? As a teacher I can tell you that they are setting them up to never have their names spelled "correctly" on birthday cards or valentines. Plus, kids love buying those personalized mugs, keychains, pencils, etc. And if they use too "youneek" a spelling, their names will never be available.
This baby as an adult will be sick of constantly saying, "No, it's spelled P-A-I-T-Y-N" everytime she's asked to give her name for something.
Yes, I've seen it also. I am not a fan. I prefer Peyton/Payton.
