I hate to tell you that it doesn't end. She started saying "daddy" at 7 months and eventually mom at 9 but today I came home from work and played with her for all of 3 seconds before she looked to the door of the playroom and said "Daddy?" and then crawled to the door crying "Dada! Daddy! Dada!".

DD's first word was "dada" and I was crushed!

Well, he didn't look at him and say "Papa" as in calling him.  DH was saying "Papa" and he was repeating.
