Pressure and Uncomfortableness in back and pelvis

I have a weird pressure/uncomfortableness in my lower pelvic area/vagina when I stand up or laugh or try to go pee/poop.  Feels like a dull ache.  And my lower back aches too.  I called my ob/gyn today to ask about it and never got a call back.. Should I call the after-hours number??  It's not really painful just uncomfortable pressure.  I have an appointment this Friday too.

  • Sounds like RLP to me.  If it becomes painful, call the after-hours number.

  • It doesn't go away with rest.  I mean if I rest in a certain position, it is fine, but when I get up its there again.  And its been there since Monday night.  I'm really annoyed the office did not even call me back!
  • Let me know what you find out, because i'm having the same exact thing. It mostly comes when i'm over-doing it and working long days.

  • I've got really bad lower pelvic pain, sometimes stretches to the upper inner-thigh & pubic area.  hurts when I sit/stand up, roll over in bed (the worst), and when I walk sometimes.  No pain when I'm resting.  Doc said it was from stretching of the ligaments around the pubic bones (too much), and there's nothing I can do about it.  He did an internal exam just to make sure things were ok, and the baby is just fine.  I think some girls who have this have had success with a chiropractor.  I get RLP too, but it's different, those are sharp pains in my lower abdomen when I move too suddenly.
