Totally NBR: The UAH shooting case

Have ya'll been reading about it...it just gets crazier and crazier by the day.  And I have a feeling not half of the information is out there yet.  What do ya'll think? 

(Sorry...I know this isn't baby related at all, but it's been on my mind, maybe because it is so close to home).

I think the woman is nuts.  I'm still trying to figure out how she got hired.  I know you can't know everything about a person when you are hiring them, but she just seems scary to me.

My best friend works for the biology dept at UAH. Amy Bishop was her boss

It is a horrible thing that has happened. but i use "nuts" very carefully. she should not get off on "insanity" she should be thrown in prison. she knew exactly what she was doing.

UAH is not a fault IMO. There was nothing on her background check because no charges were ever filed. Scary huh?

I saw your posts about your friend on TTCAL ( I still lurk there.)  I can't imagine what she is going through.  From what I've seen, you are an awesome friend for providing her so much support after all that happened.

I agree...this woman knew exactly what she was doing...I determined that for myself yesterday when it came out about how she just stood up, pulled out the gun,and started going down the row shooting the people in the head.  She then began to reload!!  You don't plan on reloading if it was a spur of the moment thing...she intended to kill all the people in the room!!  And I just got this mental picture of her following that one professor out into the hall and just aiming at her...totally creeps me out!  She doesn't need to get off on insanity..she is a methodolical(sp?) killer!

Her husband said he didn't know where she got the gun or how long she had it.  If I walked in with a gun, I guarantee the first question out of DH's mouth would be "Where did you get a gun?" 

And you're right, she doesn't deserve to plead insanity.  She deserves a trip to Yellow Mama.

I think he is somehow involved as well...I agree if I had a gun all of the sudden Wes would be asking me some questions.  Her husband isn't very good at playing dumb in my opinion.
