I am looking for wall letters for Evan's room.  Here is the "theme" of the room:

Someone please smack some sense in to me and tell me to buy the ones I really want, even if the shipping is $10 more.  I just think nearly $50 for wall letters is ridiculous - and it's only a 4 letter name!!

Get the ones you REALLY want!  I paid more than that to have Allie's done to custom match her bedding.

I was going to tell you you could easily make those (I'd be happy to help) -- but with supplies, you're probably looking at close to that total anyways.

I think you should just buy what you want!

I know, I know.  And you know what Sarah??  You just totally made me realize that all they did was cut the border paper and used the pieces on the letters - see, here's a close up of the border paper, which I already know I have more of than I will need:

My sister is coming this weekend to visit (and do my maternity pics) and she did J's wall letters, so I'll see what she can do!  If not, I may have to enlist your services (Sarah)!

I'm all about being cheap so you won't get much help from me. If you go to Michaels and buy the wooden letters then you can use that to trace them out of the border and since it is wallpaper they will stick to the wooden letters. Another idea is to find sports oriented scrap book paper and use that instead of the wallpaper. Or you can even go to a fabric store and buy less than a yard of sports oriented fabric and glue that on. Ok, I'll stop with the suggestions.

Normally I am quite the cheap @ss myself.  But when it comes to something really important (like your nursery) I say buy what you really want!

You and your sis could try to DIY.  If it did not turn out well....you know where you can buy them

I haven't clicked the link but my stance is time is money nyou have Jenna and you work and you're pregnant. While making the letters yourself might be cheaper you have to add in the added stress too. Instarted out wanting to make my own and then realized I just didn't have it in me to do it the way I'd want to get them done. I can't remember who I used but the letters and shipping were only 40 for averys name. I'll check later when I get on my computer.
