Contact your doctor because as someone said the spots can be a sign of pre-e. But dizzy spells are pretty common in pregnancy and can be caused by numerous things. In my case, they were caused by anemia. Once I had a proper dose of iron in me, they stopped.
Best of luck.
I had this happen to me as well (also in the mornings). Like the PPs said, bring it up to your OB. They will want to rule out things like pre-e and gestational diabetes. In my case, once pre-e and GD were ruled out, he recommended increasing my protein intake (eating power bars first thing in the morning), and taking an iron supplement because I was slightly anemic. Since I made these changes I have had no more dizzy spells. Good Luck tomorrow!
This happened to me frequently throughout my pregnancy. They had me see a cardiologist (heart monitors, the whole 9, and I was fine - heart murmur, but nothing "scary") to be safe. I DID, however, have VERY low blood pressure, because the twins were using what they needed first, and I just got what was left. I increased my water intake a TON. (I carried a 1.5 quart cup of ice water with me at all times) I drank water all day whether I wanted it or not, and it made a world of difference. My spells essentially stopped. (I had one more, but I think it was blood sugar related.) The cardiologist told me to drink more than twice the "normal" water daily amounts. They also had me increase my salt intake like a pp to help keep it in my system.
HTH, GL!
