I have always loved the name Micah. DD was going to be Micah if she was a boy, and now that we are having a boy, i want to use it. However, DH is on the fence about it for several reasons.
I have always thought of it as a strong boy name. It is an old Bible name, and everyone i have ever known with that name has been a boy. But i'm amazed at how many people tell me it sounds like a girl name. So, what do you guys think?

I don't take one single minute for granted.
I've taught 2 Micah's (boys) and 1 Myka (girl).
I prefer the traditional spelling and for a boy.
It's my husband's name. I really like it, but most people think he says "Michael" and he has to repeat it a lot. We are christian, although it does sound like your traditional jewish/biblical name.
