UPS fail....

yep.. I ordered some things from Gymboree and the UPS tracking confirmation says it came to my house yesterday.... in the midst of a 12 inch snowfall... Ummmmm.

It isn't here.  I was home.  No truck in my driveway.  No tracks at all.  Certainly not left IN my garage as they say because it was closed all day.

I called and she told me to walk around to my neighbors and ask for help. OR I could call gymboree and request a replacement shipment, but this was not 'their deal".

Um, thanks, jerk.

I called Gyboree who said that UPS sucks and that they will initiate the "search process" ... like my baby daisy sunglasses are a member of the cast of Lost.

Grrrr....Angry

    The UPS person also suggested I wait for the snow to melt to complain as it might be hidden in a drift....Indifferent

    I HATE UPS!!  We ordered fleece jackets with our employees names embroidered on them for our staff members for Christmas.  They told us that they would be delivered on December 12 - plenty of time for Christmas.  Well we waited four days after the 12th and still nothing.  The tracking number said it had been delivered.  Apparently it somehow got sent to California by mistake.  And when they re-sent it, we didn't get the package until mid-January.  It was ridiculous.

    Ugh. That is so irritating. I deal with them all the time and they can be so unhelpful sometimes.

    Yeah.  I ordered $100 worth of wall registers (the joys of having to order custom) that were supposedly delivered by UPS.  The company said it isn't their deal, and it's not UPS's deal . . . it stinks.  They were probably stolen, but why weren't they insured by one of the parties?  Or why isn't there a box I can check that says I would like to sign for packages?  I am a little less enthralled about ordering things now.
