Please just tell me what to buy! (Stroller)

I am so confused.  We have a Graco Duo Glider and I am thinking I will use that for indoors and for when they are still in the the car seats.  But I want a stoller for outdoor walks, zoo, fairs, ect.  I tried to search the board for the other thousand stroller posts but the search function sucks.

So please just tell me what stroller to buy.   I try to "research" on my own but my twins will be my first children so I don't even know what I will want.

TIA

  • I really wish someone had told me what to buy, too.  We have the Kolcraft Contours stroller.  I do like it but am not sure it's what you're looking for.  Sorry I'm not more help.

  • We got the baby jogger city classic for outdoor excursions.  double jogging stroller in general will be good for outside

  • if you want something for long walks outside, the zoo, etc - an all terrain stroller is great.  You wouldn't be disappointed with any of the following- but they are pricey - you can often find them on craigslist used.

Bob, Bumbleride Indie Twin, Valco Trimode Twin, Baby Jogger City Elite or Classic

For tandem strollers - the kolcraft is great for the money- but is very long and hard to get around inside stores sometimes.  I have it and loved it- but then they came out with the Baby Jogger City Select and I fell in love with that- I got it last month and LOVE it.  It's my every day stroller now.

I have a Valco Trimode Twin for long walks/zoo, etc.

  • We have the City Mini and love it. It's not an all-terrain stroller but we haven't really needed that. It's great for walks and such as long as you're not on rough ground.

  • The two stollers we use are the Duo glider and our Baby Trend double jogging stroller. I've used the jogging stroller in bigger stores like Walmart, but haven't tried it anywhere else except for our walks. Very easy to push and turn one handed.

  • We just registered for the City Mini. It's inbetween a full out jogger with the big wheels but has heartier wheels than what was on the Maclaren Twin Techno. It rides and steers nice and folds up in a snap - and is also very light 16 or 17lbs so I can lift it into the car. Good luck deciding!
  • We are getting the Baby Jogger City Select.  Although for twins you need to get the attachments to make it suitable for twins. It's a bit on the expensive side, but seems like it grows with the twins. It even works with infant car seats.

  • I have not used it yet but the MOM's group I'm in recommends the Combi Twin Sport. I believe it is fairly reasonable compared to a lot of the others mentioned.
  • What about the Baby Jogger City Micro?  Anyone have any experience with this one?
