I like Gabriella MUCH better than Penelope.  I can't stand that name.  Probably because DH always jokes and pronounces it "Penil-ope."

We're naming our baby girl Gabriella so I'm a bit biased. But I am also not a big fan of Penelope because I don't like the nickname Penny. How about Phoebe? To me that's similar to Penelope or along the same vein. Or maybe Beatrice?

Penny is a nn for penelope.

I love Penelope. It would be LOs name, but my bff is naming her daughter Penelope, so it's out for me.

Penelope! Love this name. Gabriella is nice but it's too frilly, pretty-pretty-princess for my liking.

I think Penelope has better nicknames than Gabriella. Penny, Poppy, Lola, Lo... adorable.
