What do you really need two of?

I know you need two cribs, highchairs and carseats. But what about swings, bathtubs, boppys, bumbos, etc?  What am I not thinking of?

2 Boppies will save your life, and definitely 2 bouncy seats.

I never had a swing, and never really missed having one either.  1 Bathtub is fine.  We have 2 bumbos, but don't really use them all that often.  I would say pretty much everything else we have 1 of, and just kind of rotate them through (i.e. stationary entertainer, activity mat, jumper, etc).

I've been wondering this same thing, what do I really need two of.  As far as the swing and bouncy seat go I was just thinking that we would rotate the kids when they needed a change.  Other than the car seat and crib (which they will be sleeping together anyway at first) I'm not sure what we are going to get two's of yet.  But I have a ways to go yet to decide!!

You only need one bathtub since you can only bathe one baby at a time. Also, a double snap n go stroller has been the best purchase I made!!

We couldn't live without 2 bouncy seats.   We have 2 boppy pillow and use them both as well.  We only have one tub because I can only do one at a time, but when they get bigger we will get 2 of the sitting seats for bathing so they can be in the tub together.

2 swings, 1 bathtub, 2 boppys, 2 bumbo's.

We use 2 boppy's and 2 bouncy seats.  We still don't have a swing and as of now, I am not missing it.  They share an activity mat and when they use them, they will rotate the exercauser and jumperoo thing.  I have one Bumbo that I got on CL and if they both like it, I will pick one up from there.  They are so much cheaper and super easy to clean.  We only have one tub, too.

We had one swing and neither of them really liked it, so I'm glad we only had the one.

1 activity mat - they both fit on it together for a long time

1 tummy time mat - just rotate them on and off it because they wouldn't stay on their tummy very long anyways.

1 bathtub

2 bumbos, they LOVED these at 4 months and up.

1 jumperoo - when one was in the jumperoo, the other was in the exersaucer and vice versa.

2 walkers - they love seeing each other run around and "chasing" the dog around

We have 2 very different bouncers, so that they can rotate when they get bored. No swings here!

One activity mat. No Bumbos, though I have heard good things about them. We will get 1 jumperoo (& possibly an exersaucer, space-permitting). 1 bath tub is enough. HTH!

- 2 bouncy chairs (i got the boppy cradle in comfort chairs and use them for feeding)

- 2 swings (mine are addicted to them)

- 2 bumbos

- 1 activity mat

- 1 tub, although it's easier for me to get in the tub myself and have DH hand them to me one at a time - they get a quick scrubdown, he takes the first one and hands me the second one, then takes the second one and i can finish bathing.

i had two boppy pillows but never used them.

THe item I couldn't live without is the Fischer Price Infant to Toddler rocker...I feed them in it, they sit in it, nap in it, etc etc.
