Hey Ladies,

 

I am looking into having someone make the christening dress from my wedding dress.  Did anyone do this?  Does anyone hasve any recommendations?  Any idea of the cost?

I believe one of the girls on the Philly Nest board is currently having this done - try RPing this question there.

Also, from the Philly knot there was a very popular seamstress (Nilah) who might do this as well. You can ask for her info on that board.

I am currently having this done and I am actually using Nilah like Erin suggested. She altered my wedding dress for me and did a great job. She currently has the dress and is making the christening gown. I haven't gotten it back yet, but wil lbe happy to share pictures when I do.
