Okay so the name DH and I came up with for a girl comes with the initials FEK. Is this bad for a kid or acceptable? Don't want my little girl to hate me for that haha. Assuming I have a girl, that is... just trying to prepare myself!
I am assuming that your last name ends with a K. A more traditional mongram would be FKE so I would not worry
Our last name ends in K and there were so many combos I wanted to steer cleer from. K last names can be so hard!
It took over four years to be diagnosed with PCOS. We TTC #1 for 18 months, did 5 rounds of Clomid and finally moved onto IVF...which worked! Throughout our IF journey, we suffered 3 miscarriages. We conceived both DD and DS without treatment.
I'm not sure I'd do it ... or at least I'd hesitate a LOT before I did it ... which, I guess is why you did this post.
If that middle name is really beautiful, I wouldn't think twice.
That being said, DD #1's middle name was going to be Marie, in honor of my mother. But her initials would've been PMS. So, I added a middle name, so she wouldn't have to suffer those initials for the rest of her life. Now, it's PAMS ... and some people have actually asked if I call her Pam for short. I was like, Whaaaa?
TTC #1 since 2007. Dx: Unexplained infertility. 4 IUIs in 2008 = BFN. IVF #1 07/09. DD #1 born April 2010 (40w5d). TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2 born March 2014 (40w1d).
Re: Honest opinions please - initials question.
*** i would not do- but FEK is fine IMO... i wouldn't think twice about it.
ETA - i tried to put the initials F then U then K

I don't think it's bad at all!!
I had to stop and think why it would be bad. I've only seen 'feck' used on these message boards.
