Anyone else snowed in and BORED SENSELESS?

I usually work M, W, Th. I went back from maternity leave early because I'm so bored. I can't stand being in the house any more.

Anyway, I went back early on a short schedule of just Mon, Wed.

Last week, I worked Monday. Then preschool (my off day) was cancelled on Tuesday b/c we got a snow storm. Then, snow got worse and so childcare was cancelled on Wed, so no work for me. I did go ahead and work on Thursday morning, but that's been it.

Sunday night, yesterday and this morning we got MORE snow. I haven't left the house since Sunday, and that was just a quick trip to the gym. I was off for Pres's Day yesterday. And preschool was cancelled again today!

FOR THE LOVE, someone get me out of my house! (DH is at work; the roads are passable but it doesn't make sense to take out two LOs just to go to Target when Littlest One has a cold.)

YES!  i did come to work today but holy hell, Carson was bouncing off the walls b/c we were inside Sat. Sun. and yesterday (he was sick over the weekend).  i officially hate snow, really i do.

I was snowed in for TWO WEEKS when I was 32 weeks pregnant, with 2 big dogs, and no DH.  It was AWFUL.  I cleaned and organized my ENTIRE house.  I was bored stiff.  I begged my DH to drive me to the mall at night so I could walk.

I feel your pain.  I can't image it with 2 kids.

I say, go to Target.  Get out of your house.  Or go to the mall and walk around, put them both in the stroller.

I've been off 7 of the last 10 days. I sent older DD to daycare yesterday while I was off with the baby so I could run around easier. Glad to be back at work today!
