LOL at MIL

MIL proved herself yet again this weekend.

MIL always complains we never dress LO in clothes that she gave us.

I know for a fact she gave me no clothes at the shower. She gave us the travel system, the bedding set, and a photo album. Certainly enough, but please note, you didn't give us any clothes then.

When LO was born, it was a whirlwind. I know she gave us a box with some socks, a sleeper, and one other item.

A few weeks ago she got LO 3-4 outfits, and all but one were too large for her right now.

So this weekend I brought it to DH's attention that LO is wearing the one outfit that fits her now from MIL. He gave me the impression that perhaps I was purposely not dressing her in clothes from them, which is another rant post for another day.

 We get to their place and she complains that LO is still not in an outfit from her.

DH, as we got in the car to go home: "Wow, I didn't think my mom was like that."

If there were a preemie island, I wish there were also a MIL island on the opposite side of the world! lol

Ugh.. My MIL doesn't really have this problem much.. but I do try to go out of my way to take pictures of Robbie wearing gifted clothes and make sure the people who gifted them sees them. Even if they're ugly/awful.. I'll dress him in it once, take a picture and send it. That way they feel appreciated.

MIL Island sounds good...I hope I don't turn out to be a horrible MIL....OH BOY.....

When We found out I was pregnant again... I was having a ruff first tri with nausea and she asked if I would have thought b/f I acted...The children dh and I have are going to b her only grandchildren...Another nut job here....
