Bleeding after HSG Test

Hey Everyone,

Last Wednesday (10th) I had my HSG test. On Thursday I started to spot and since Friday I've been bleeding. I have a message into my doctor, since it doesn't seem to be stopping.

Just wondering if anyone on here had this happen to them...and if so what was the cause and cure???

I bled for almost a week after my HSG so it's normal. Good luck

I hear it's normal. My HSG was so long ago that I honestly don't remember. Sorry!

I had bleeding for a few days - partly because the darn MD couldn't localize my cervix - ouch!!!  It did stop though so I wouldn't worry too much.  If it persists though and becomes heavy, I would contact your doc.

I had mine on Friday and every day I am having some spotting, not enough to worry me though. It is all day every day though so I was wondering the same thing.

 

My doctor said it is concerning if it an extremly heavy flow or you have a temp.

Thanks for the responses everyone! Heard back and said it's normal and should clear up on it's own. However, they are worried I might have a bacterial infection... b/c of my other symptoms... so we'll see what they say tomorrow.

I had bleeding too. I'm sure it's fine but it's good you have a call into your doctor.
