Scheduled C/S Timing...

I know every office is different - but just wondering you're expericences!  This is my second one - and we're going to do a scheduled c/s at 38 or 39 weeks.  But, I'm wondering if you're scheduled, when do your dr's offices usually schedule you?  I'm wondering time and day of the week.  I've forgotten to ask the last few times I was in the office - so I thought I'd ask you all!

It depends on your doctor.  They usually like to schedule them on a day when they are on call so that they are already at the hospital.

MY DR DOES IT KIND OF LAST MINUTE. AT MY 38 WEEK APPT SHE SAID "HOW ABOUT TOMORROW?" I OPTED TO DO IT ABOUT 3 DAYS LATER.

OH & I THINK ALL 3 OF MINE WERE ON A MONDAY MORNING.

I was 40 weeks and was scheduled to go in on Thursday at 8:00pm, however OB called on Wed morning and said he had an opening that night so I ended going in on Wed at 8:00pm. It worked out great b/c then DH only had to take of Thurs and Fri.

I had an emergency c/s, but my doctor said next time we'll schedule it right around 39 weeks.
