there are some people who are still going out to smoke. nevermind the sheets of ice they had to trek over to get to the smoker's area. that's dedication.

Yes.  As an ex-smoker, I would smoke even with a cold/flu and until I lost my voice...lost my voice plenty of times while drinking on College Street due to all the smoking!

Ditto what the PP have said. I found myself smoking with my "smoking buddy" at work in the midst of many a blizzard, thinking, "This is kind of insane, isn't it?" It's a nasty addiction. Thank goodness I kicked it!!

I took advantage of every (yes, really every) penny liquor/beer nights until it was banned (bastards!) There was a lot of smoking too...
