Looking for some friends- honestly!

Hi there,

My name is Bernadette. I moved to the south shore 3 years ago from VT. I work full time and am just still having a hard time meeting friends to hang out with.

Of course now I am a mommy to beautiful DD but I am still wishing I had some other moms to chill out with- with or without our kids sometimes.

I have joined a mom's group out of Rockland, but a  lot of the things they do are during the day and I work so I haven't been able to meet them just yet.

Any thoughts?

Try posting on the Boston Nest board. It's a lot busier than this one (though still not crazy busy). But there is a group of girls from the South Shore, I believe they were talking about a gtg at one point.

I know exactly what you mean. I work during that day and most of my friends don;t have kids yet and are still not really mature enough to have them even though they are older then me.
