My great grandfather passed away this weekend. He would have been 104 1/2 on the 17th. He lived a long glorious life and while we are all sad we knew it was time for him to go. This is my grandfather's (who just lost his wife in October) father. Can you imagine knowing your dad for 83 years!!! Anyway, we are trying not to be sad and celebrate the wonderful times we had with him but it is still very hard on my papa and my mom. TY ladies.

I'm very sorry to hear that. What an amazing, long life! And you're right, to be 83 with your father still alive is incredible. My heart goes out to your grandfather, your mom, and your whole family.
