Contractions 5-6 mins. apart...DH funny

So right now I'm timing contractions. I called my OB around 5:00 after having 30mins of 5min apart. They wanted me to lay down and time them for 2 hours. I called DH and let him know whats the deal...he was fine then.

He just called me asking where they were at. 6 minutes apart right now. His voice gets REALLY high pitch and he screams CLOSE YOUR LEGS! I'M NOT READY! lol. I laughed so hard. You would think this was our first time on this ride!

Last time with DS#1 He told be I couldnt go into Labor that night b/c he had an allergist appointment the next day... yea we had a baby that night. :P

Lets hope this little boy stays in longer...but if he needs to come out our local hospital is perfectly equipped to handle him. My OB doesnt think we're gonna make it to our c/s date, that we should count ourselves lucky to make it to March. ugh.

I'm wishing you lots of luck, however the evening turns out for you (be it having your LO or "closing your legs", and keeping him in ). DH requested last night that I not go into early labor; he's an accountant and it's busy season. I told him the baby would come when he is ready and I am not in control of that decision!

I'm due the day after DH's birthday.  He told me that he was ok with the baby coming a week early or a week late, but to please try not to have her on his birthday.  Still cracks me up that they think we somehow have control over it.

YOur 36 wks right?  so your fine. My dr told me when I was around 35 wks that if I had the baby then i should be able to take her/him home with me.  But we are still here..
