What did everyone get for V-Day?

For me the good news is that I got a Coach wallet to match the bag I got for Christmas and roses.  The bad news is that I also got a cold and AF (we have been TTC since November)!  Oh well.  Hope everyone is having a great day!

I'm sorry about the cold and AF. I didn't get anything, which I'm not surprised about. DH wanted to take us out to dinner, but with DS's pinkeye that's not happening.

I got a vintage necklace with a 'thistle' motif. it's beautiful. but I sent a few links to DH so he could pick me out a necklace so don't be impressed.

I got to sleep in and be lazy. It was a great Val day.

We got 80 degree weather; that's enough of a v-day for me!!

DH made DD and me matching V-day cards, and they are so cute. I was expecting a store bought card (that's all we do) and the homemade one was just so sweet and cute. I have no idea when he found the time to do it.

We're going to grill burgers tonight.

MH and I got sushi from our favorite restaurant (take out) and then he bought me my favorite wine.  We've had a great weekend, lots of family time.

DH then had to go to the office all day (stupid earnings season), but just came home and brought me some chocolates. I will definitely need to go to the gym tomorrow.

NO children last night that I later learned was planned by dh and my best friend. ( we are keeping her children next week in return) A very romantic dinner, steak, grilled veggies, Baked potatoes (oops... my diet)

I got to sleep in this morning and was brought breakfast in bed. 

Then at lunch when the kids came home I was given an awesome mothers necklace that has three charms with their names on the front and birth date on the back. I will PIP when I get a chance.

Not a thing. There is just too much going on right now. In fact DH isn't even here. He is with his dad at his nursing home.

I did make some cute bags with some v-day stuff for the kids and they were super excited to get them when they woke up this morning!! That was fun!

DH and I got a night out last night (while MIL watched the boys) and had dinner and a kid-free evening.  That is all I could ask for!

We went out last night and I bought some shirts (I know dh wasn't doing anything) so I treated myself to something nice.  Dd and I got him a nikon cool pix because we bought me a dslr last month.  DD colored me a really cute dog pic and told me she loved me and I'm cute.  She says this all the time and she is really sweet.  We went out for breakfast and lunch today too.

A really pretty real rose preserved in 24 carat gold - too expensive to buy a whole bunch, but you get one for a special occasion and build a bunch over time.

Nothing.  We don't do V-day. 

I did get DD 1 chocolate crayons and one pink and one red carnation as she kept seeing the roses commercial on Sprout and kept asking for pink and red fowers, lol.  The baby got a can of Gerber cheese puffs and a little toy.
