Why is my child obsessed with socks?

He is so weird. Pulls his socks off all the time and then plays with them forever!!! Carries them around, hides them in places, stretches them out... greatest toy EVER.

Mine takes his socks off all the time, but then he inspects his feet for toe jam.  No idea where he picked this up but it is hilarious!

I think they are all obsessed with socks.  DS takes them off, chews on them, and then yesterday wanted 3 different pairs on at once.

DD loves socks and shoes...those are two of her clearest words.  I don't get the allure, but more power to her.

DS loves socks too!  He digs them out of his drawer and carries them around, pulls them off his feet, and feeds them to the dog.  I don't know why they're so fun!
