If you go back and REREAD what I wrote dumbass I said who cares.  But being she's really big into that stuff, I'm sure she's not 100% concerned into the health of her kid.

    Oh.  Burn.

I would pay more attention to his height/weight percentiles than his physical appearance.

    This.

Both my kids are solid. Neither have flab. Emilia has a pot belly right now but I think we are about to hit a big growth spurt with her.

I would re evaluate his eating habits. We have stopped all unnecessary snacking to make sure the kids aren't eating all day.

They get 3 meals and 2 snacks. That is it. Before they were snacking about 3-4x a day and it interfered with dinner.

He will probably slim out in the summer.

  • Don't we all slim out in the summer anyways.  I can't wait to run outside and play at the park.  I'm so done with being stuck inside in the snow.  My poor dog has put on winter weight!
  • I am having a hard time seeing where being concerned about your child's size is a negative thing, I think if more people were more concerned we would have less fat unhealthy children running around. And WTH did all these people come from today, I have never seen half of these lovely ladies.
  • I don't think  you have anything to be worried about.

My DD will be 3 next week and has a tiny bit of flab.  She weighs 27 lbs and is 38 inches tall.

I think as long as your pedi is ok with height/weight then your fine.
