Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

*kelbrian*

I've seen you mention before that you give your DD Kefir.  I tried some with DD the other day cause she loves yogurt and she loved it!  I rarely give her juice so I thought it would be nice to give her this instead of water sometimes.

Do you give it in place of milk?  Also, is it more like milk or yogurt?

I guess I could look this info up but I know you probably could answer for me better than google.  TIA

  • Sorry to hijack but since you're calling her in...where did you get Lil's ladybug rain boots? Why does she always have the best footwear?

  • Hey! I do give it in place of milk. She won't drink a lot of milk, and it actually gives her diarrhea regardless. It is more like a yogurt drink, and it has probiotics, so it is really good for her.  I talked to her doctor about it, and she said that it was perfectly fine as long as she was getting enough - 15 or more oz a day, in addition to yogurt and cheese and other sources of calcium.

Haha, my sister actually passed them on - they were my niece's. But they are from Target; I've seen them in the gardening and shoe departments.

She has good taste, what can I say? :)

Okay.  Thanks.  I'm not going to replace it with her milk cause she does fine with it.  But, she LOVES all things dairy.  I just don't want to go overboard on it so she gets constipated.
