pediatrician associated with st peters

I just  found  out today that we  need to select a  pediatrician that is affiliated/ has priveleges  with St. Peters hospital. Originally we selected a dr based on  recommendations  from friends,  but will still need a  dr  to  come  to  st. peters  and  examine  the  baby. tried  searching the  hospital website  but there are over 150 names. any recs?

I delivered in St. Peter's back in September 2009...the pediatrician we selected (Advocare in Bedminster, NJ) was not affiliated with St. Peter's.  So we ended up having one of the staff pediatricians at St. Peter's do all the check ups on our daughter and then we made an appointment with Advocare for the day after we got home.  The doctor we had at St. Peter's was really nice and thorough...so if you can't find an affiliated pediatrician I wouldn't worry too much.  They send you home with plenty of information on your child that you then bring to your actual pediatrician. 

I do think that Somerset Pediatrics is associated with St. Peter's though...think they are in Somerville.

Dr. Gajula.  He is awesome!  He is affiliated with St. Peters and Centra State.  He is based in Old Bridge and Mont Clair. Old bridge office is 732.679.2555 not  sure of mont clair #.  He is wonderful, and he gives you his cell #.  So when you have to call, you don't go through any service when you have baby /child questions!

PP is correct - Somerset Pediatrics is associated with St. Peters (I delivered there in Dec. 2008 and Somerset Peds is our doc now for DD).  They have about 15 different docs in their network and have offices in Hillsborough and Bridgewater (which is actually on the border of Somerville). They have done well for us so far.  G/L!
