NBR (sort of): Storage ottoman?

We really need to replace our coffee table. It's from Ikea and we've had it about 4 years, so the "wood" is starting to peel off. Stick out tongue

Since DD will be mobile in the next few months, we'd like to replace it with a large storage ottoman rather than another table so it will be one less hard corner for her to bump her head on.

So, does anyone know a good place to get one? I want one that is a big square (like 3'x3' or so) and either one big piece on the top to lift off or 4 smaller squares that you can flip over. I've looked online at Rooms to Go, Room Store, Crate and Barrel, Macy's and Dillard's and haven't really found anything I love. We definitely want to spend under $500 and would prefer it to be under $350.

maybe try Ashley's Furniture? We got four small square ones there that we love and I'm pretty sure they have bigger rectangular ones as well.

We used to have this one from Target and liked it a lot. We sold it when we moved into our new house though b/c we didn't have enough room for it.

We just got one from IKEA that we like--the Ektorp Bromma footstool. I don't know if it's as big as you were wanting, but we were surprised at the amount of storage space it had. The price was great, too!
