as much as i hate work i hate calling in more. i'm always afraid i'll need my time off later and hoard it. the book is closed so i can't use a vacation or personal day (planned) and will have to use my unplanned time off (that's obviously what it's there for). my mouth is still sore and the thought of having to sit there and talk for 8 hours ... ugh. i need to follow up on some stuff so i was going to go for half a day if i can stand it. justified right? (this is obviously one of those "forehead-slapping" posts but i need nestie approval ;-)           ).

I think tooth pain is one of the worst pains out there.  It requires a call in.

exactly. i say tooth pain is worse than labor (for me anyway). it's not as bad as before it was pulled but still hurts some & i can't take any pain med b/c i will be knocked out.

Tooth pain is the worst! I got hit by a truck and would do it again over tooth pain.
