Pregnant after a Loss

Sick...yuck!

It has been a very long long night.  I went to bed not feeling great  and woke up at 2am puking my guts out.  I have spent so much time on the toilet today I think my backside will have a permanent ring from the toilet seat.  I am praying I get to feeling better soon I have to go pick up my progesterone prescription from Walmart.  This is just awful, my tummy hurts bad.

What can pregnant woman take that is safe to try to stop the diarrhea and vomiting?  Or do I have to just deal with the funk.

  • That does not sound fun at all!!  I'm sorry you're feeling so icky!  Do you think it's just pg stuff or could it be a bug?  Either way I hope you feel better soon!  (((HUGS)))

  • I would call your doctor and ask. Also, drink your Gatorade! You don't want to get dehydrated.

  • I'm drinking the gatorade slowly but it is so sweet that it takes everything to get it down.  I'm exhausted and I don't know if this is pg or a bug, but either way it's yucky.  I'm gonna take a shower and a nap and hopefully I'll wake up feeling a little better.

  • I would just try to keep fluids down for the day and take it easy. I had really bad morning sickness eary on and my Dr told me to eat popsicles and try to drink pedialyte (less sodium then gatoraide) or even try the pedialyte popsicles. It does not have to be water as long as you can keep some sort of fluid down. Hope you feel better!
