Question for Neti Pot users...

I just used my neti pot for the first time  in a long time because I have had a ton of sinus pressure and a runny nose all day. As soon as I used it, my left ear began throbbing. Has this ever happened to any one else? What is going on?? It hurts so bad...

I would assume that the throbbing ear is just due to your sinus pressure. The neti pot might have just moved the stuff out of your nose enough so that now you are noticing it in your ear. Maybe try doing another one? Or pop a decongestant, a tylenol, and see what happens.

Could be sinus pressure.  Is your throat sore?  Try a decongestant and put a warm cloth on your face (cheeks by your nose for sinuses duh!) to help loosen the congestion.

That is the weird thing. I woke up feeling just fine this morning, got to school, had a sneezing fit and then felt like hell ever since. So weird. My throat doesn't hurt at all...

I just put peroxide in my ear and it seems to be feeling better now. Bah humbag. I hate being sick.
