Ok ladies, my husband and I are 13 weeks pregnant and loving every minute of it! We've decided to not find out the sex of the baby and going to let it be a huge surprise! So we want to make sure we have both a boy and a girl name ready. We're pretty set on the name Jessa for a little girl and she'll take my middle name of LouAnn. We're stuck on a boys name though...
Here's what we're thinking either Nolan or Leighton (pronounced lay-tin). Either would have the middle name of Jaymes. Which one do you guys like better and what, if any, pros and cons can you think for either name? I appreciate all you input!! Thanks!
Re: Need some help...
I like Nolan too...
I've always seen Leighton as a girl's name.... but maybe that's my area.
Same here.
Not a fan of Jaymes unless there is some family significance.
James is great. I would go with Nolan because I think of Leighton as a girl's name.
i think your girl's name is adorable, and i agree with PPs in that leighton seems very feminine (perhaps due to the popularity of leighton meester?).
nolan jaymes is just fine. (i'm assuming your 'jaymes' spelling is a family thing.)
h+h 9 months!
James is fine. Jaymes is ridic.
Yep. Ridic.
Unless it's a family name, I would definitely spell Jaymes "James."
Either of your boy names sound fine with James. I don't know any girl Leightons. I only know it as a last name, so I don't think it's necessarily a girl name.

MSC - You always make me smile.
I like Lleyton for a boy (as in the the professional tennis player, Lleyton Hewitt).
