Ha! Not really, depending on what you order it may take a little while to come in. Ours only took a couple of weeks but I've heard stories of worse.

If he's really excited I don't see why not.  As long as you keep it in the box in case you end up finding a different one you like better and want to return it.

I ordered mine at 18 weeks.

It will be here between 30-32.

Nah, go for it, I bought mine at 15 weeks.

I don't think so. They can take a few weeks for delivery and then you have to assemble it.

A friend of mine bought hers at 12 weeks because she found one that was perfect at a yard sale for a steal!

we still don't have one at our house.  (It's at my aunts and my H is still working on JJ's room.)
