Register??

My husband and I find out next week if its a boy or a girl and were very excited we also want to start registering for the baby shower. When is a good time to register ? and besided Target and babies R us where are some good places in CT to register?

My husband and I started registering at around 4 months. We went for the big stuff that we NEED and have been slowly adding as we go. We registered at Baby's World in Southington. We liked them because they monitor safety and consumer reports and only stock the highest rated. The only thing is that most of the furniture and bedding has to be special ordered, but they will store it for you until you want it. We also registered at Target because there is not a Babies R Us very close to us and we figured that we would get much more use out of Target gift cards. Hope this helps!

I thought Burlington Coat Factory's Baby Depot had TONS of stuff! We were so surprised. It's going to be there and Target for us.

A lot of moms like Baby Depot (Part of Burlington Coat Factory), but I went to check them out and wasn't impressed. I just stuck with two stores for my registries BRU and Target.
