I have read online and in baby bargains that the Graco pack n play can be used as a bassinet if you want the baby to sleep in your room for awhile before putting them into the crib. Has anyone done this or plan to do this? I really don't want to have to buy a separate bassinet and everything that goes along with it. I am hoping this is safe for baby. Thanks!
Re: Pack and Play as a bassinet?
That is our plan. ?But, has anyone read any safety ratings for the newborn napper part? I just curious because they tell you to get a Firm mattress and the napper is not firm. ?I just wondering if I need to consider that or not.?
WDYT??
we used our PNP with bassinet attachment as his main sleep space until he outgrew it. Then we tried his crib but he hated it and he ended up just in the PNP in our room....
We're going to use the PnP for the first couple of weeks and then transfer LO to his/her crib.
This is the PnP we went with:
