advice?

Right now my dog was chasing my cat and they ran into our tv stand. I tried getting them out because they were banging around and I was afraid they were going to drop the tv. I had DD in my arms and tried reaching for my dog. DD arched her back and flopped backwards. She did not fall out of my arms, but since it happened suddenly I am afraid her spine might be hurt because she went back since I was using my other hand to try to grab my dog instead of holding her back. She cried for a little while after it happened, but I don't know if it is because she was startled or if she hurt her spine. Should I take DD into pedi or would this not have caused any damage?
