when i was in labor i kept asking why i felt so much when i had the epi and they said i was supposed to. and i kept thinking but the women on a baby story don't feel anything at all!!
I can see you're upset. You know what you need to do? You need to...
DO THE, POTTY DANCE! LEFT SIDE, CROSS, RIGHT SIDE CROSS.... STEP, STEP, TOES WAIST CELEBRATE! DITCH THE DIAPER DO THE DANCE!
LMAO...can they run this commercial into the ground or what????
This commercial drives me crazy! And, I was just reading a gossip mag and there was an ad in there too...how the potty dance works!?!? Really, it is so worn out, and every time I hear it, it is in my head for days and days.

I have never seen either of those shows but my labor was pretty darn amazing.
For a first timer I had a short labor- just shy of 10 hours. I pushed for an hour and 20 minutes. I never felt a single contraction or had any pain. I slept through most of my labor and woke up about a half hour before I started pushing. I never even broke a sweat.

Not all childbirths are horrible experiences.
I slept through most of my labor, too. I only pushed for 30 minutes. I kept telling DH "the shows all make it look so hard...this is going too well." and he said, "I can't believe it! You aren't cursing me, gripping my hand, or sweating!"
I do HATE HATE HATE bringing home baby though. That show makes it look like a breeze. Psh.
