Multiples

16 week u/s

As a Valentine's day gift to DH we went today to the ultrasound school in town - they do free ones for the students to practice but the instructor is always there to supervise and make sure it's correct. It was lots of fun and I learned a lot through the instructor teaching the students. They begged us to come back again since they don't see many cases of multiples.

Looks like Baby A is a Boy and Baby B is a girl!!!

Re: 16 week u/s

  • How fun!  Why not take advantage of that??

Our A is a boy and B is a girl too :)  Found out at 16 weeks and they have continued to stay the same!

No kidding! I'm tempted to look up any schools/classes that may be offering that. I'd love to get some insight on reading one. Congrats on your babies! We have b/g as well and are super excited!

I never thought to check into schools for u/s techs...  that's a great idea!  I'd love to help someone get experience plus I'd never turn down a chance to see the babies.  :)

  • We have a local tech college that does the same for free - just to get their students experience.  They were really booked up when I called so I didn't get in until after our 20 wk u/s - at 24 weeks but am still very excited as they do 2-D & 3-D.  The instructor sounded excited when I made the appointment too for the very same reason that they don't see a lot of multiples & it would be a great experience for the students.

Congrats on your fun V-Day gift!!
