That is probably what she is feeling. but I remember reading something about BH's starting early (don't remember when) but that you don't start to feel them until 16-20ish weeks.
I felt mine reallllly early. My uterus was half way to my belly button by 11 weeks. I felt BH long before I felt movement. Its possible, but shes probably completely mistaken

Well. I'd say my skepticism has turned into a lesson for me. I looked it up and BH can start as early as 2 months (8 weeks) for some. I did not know that.
I know this is late, but I wanted to add that per my doctor, medically they are not called BH until 20 weeks. It is just referred to as cramping, so technically, no, you can't have BH at 8wks.
