Cocker spaniels need good home

A close friend of mine has to find a new home for her cocker spaniels and I told her I would try to help.  She has two sister cocker spaniels, buff/party colored, full blooded with AKC paperwork. They are very sweet, 2-year-old dogs who are great with young children. (they have been raised in a house with an 18-month-old little boy, who loves them. My daughter has also been around them during the day since she was 12 weeks old since it is her sitter's house.) They do like to bark at strangers, but are otherwise great dogs. Fully housetrained and get along well with other dogs. Let me know if you want any other information or pictures. They want to find a good home where the dogs can stay together. As a cocker spaniel owner myself, I can say they are great dogs and generally the breed one that is very devoted to their family. Our cocker spaniel is our first child and is devoted to our daughter.  Email me at LSeabol at aol dot com if you want more information. Spread the word if you can! Lydia P.S.. KKH or any of you who work with pet groups, will you spread the word about these dogs? We want to be sure to find a good home for them who WILL NOT use them in a puppy mill.

Re: Cocker spaniels need good home

  • If you can send me pictures I can get them out to our Birmingham area rescue network.  I would also encourage them to contact local rescue groups to help place them.  Though you mention puppy mills, so I'm assuming they're not spayed/neutered.  By state law they would have to be before a shelter or rescue could place them.
